BUELL 1125R These Buell's were only built for the street for 2 years then they were only built for road racing after 2009. It is the 1125R model. Buell used a Rotax Helicon power plant that produces about 140 HP. It is fuel injected with a 6-speed transmission. This bike is perfect for someone who wants a street/track bike. The previous owner took good care of this bike. It does not appear or have any signs of being down or abused. It has a Jardine RT-5 exhaust. The rest of the bike is stock and the rear pegs have been removed by the previous owner. I never received them so this bike will not come with rear pegs. The only flaw I noticed is the dash cover has a few stress cracks. The lens is smooth on the outside so the cracks are inside and it doesn't appear any water can get in. The paint is in great condition with no major flaws. I have checked the bike over and it will come with brand new Dunlop tires and new rear brakes. The fronts have about 50% pad life left. The Jardine exhaust sounds awesome on this 1125. I have taken it on a short reliability run and the motor, transmission and clutch sound and work as they should. Geoff May To Ride EBR 1190RX In 2014 World Superbike Championship
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During the AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida last week, Erik Buell Racing (EBR) took the covers off its latest sportbike, the 1190RX. The company also announced it would be taking the 1190RX directly to World Superbike competition in 2014, with Geoff May the team’s number one rider. Joining the world championship was a dream both May and Buell talked about regularly, dating back to when May first joined the team in 2010 riding the 1125R, so clearly both parties are excited about the season ahead.

Tue, 18 Feb 2014World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
