Low miles 2005 BMW R 1200 GS with ABS. (2005)
Low miles 05 BMW R 1200 GS, ABS, Low BMW seat, Drive Shaft was serviced by MAX BMW at 20K! Speedo was replaced at 20K as well so it reads 10,748. 2005 BMW R1200 GS with 27,000 miles. I have owned this bike for approximately 6 years and I have put 10,000 miles on it. I purchased the bike in 2009 from a Delta Airlines pilot who had owned it since new and maintained the bike perfectly. I now own 3 BMW motorcycles and can only ride one at a time, so I am selling this bike. All fluids were replaced two months ago and I just replaced the battery also. The bike has newer tires with less than 2,000 miles of light use. Bike has never been down. The bike's computer acted up 2 years ago and BMW replaced the computer and installed the most current software. The bike pulls hard and has impeccable balance and is effortlessly maneuverable. Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
