Selling one very clean 1992 BMW R100R BMW with factory hard luggage, and 8600 original miles. As you can see from the pictures, this is a very clean bike that is in exemplary condition, runs and rides like new and comes with original owners manuals and spare key. Same owner for the last 16 years since 1400 miles. Light cosmetic blemishes, please examine pictures. It does leak a small amount of oil, I believe from the pushrod tube seals. This is a 26 years old bike. Left tank badge is peeling a little bit, and there are some small scuffs under the valve covers, but overall this is a very nice bike. BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles
Fri, 25 Feb 2022The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.
