I believe I am the third owner from new, but can’t be positive. This machine has been a part of my collection for a long time and is ridden. The bike is stored in a temperature controlled environment throughout the entire year. When I purchased this particular machine, it was in the condition you see in the photos, but had not run in some time, since the owner was up in age and not able to ride anymore. I went through the entire machine and got everything working. All of the major engine, transmission, and braking components are operational. The tires are in good condition and are not in need of replacement. The brakes have also been completely rebuilt, front and rear. The engine and transmission are original and are in perfect running condition. The bike starts very easily. A brand new battery was also just installed. The paint is original and in very nice condition, considering the age of the machine. The seat pan is original, but as you can see from the photos, has the king and queen cover on it. Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
