BMW R-Series description

For sale is very nice 1978 BMW R100S that has many updates and ready to ride. This bike has just been completely tuned for major service, carbs build,  splines lube, all filters checked replaced, all oils change including break fluid, steering head bearings checked & adjusted, and valves timing adjuster, and carbs synced. The tires, exhaust, brakes, pistons and rings are also new. The bike has been repainted with factory BMW paint. The gas tank has been completely redone and lined. The bike also has the factory bags which are not pictured yet. I will add or email pictures to potential buyer. This bike has not been registered since 1983. It runs and drives awesome. I am selling this bike for my father in law.

BMW 4-Series Convertible Revealed in Leaked Images

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

In recent months, numerous prototypes of the upcoming 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible have been spotted testing. As a result of the seemingly lengthy development time of the drop-top version of the new 4-Series, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for the car’s official release. While the car remains unreleased, a few images of the new BMW 4-Series Convertible have leaked online apparently sourced from an official brochure for the new car.

Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The 2013 BMW R1200GS hasn’t arrived in showrooms yet and it’s already been subjected to its second recall in Canada. Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.
