BMW R-Series description
BMW CRASH BARS / ENGINE GUARDS Selling a nice set of crash bars. I took these off a 1960 R69. The chrome is in decent condition, minor scuffs. Very usable. Scuffs are on the bottom, not noticeable. Comes with original 4 clamps, the other two you will need are a standard u-bolt clamp that all hardware stores sell for about $2.00. Please do not ask for shipping quotes, this can vary so much, depending on if I'm shipping to Fla or Calif. I would guess that shipping and handling will be around $40-$45. All of my items sold are BMW vintage related and I have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence! Thanks and good luck! |

Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video
Wed, 29 May 2013Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.
