Only 6026 original miles. Bought new in 2010. one owner, always garaged, never down, never off-road. Recently completed 6000 mi service @ BMW of Denver. Installed new set of Metzeler Tourance Next tires.Premium package includes: ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), Dual aux lamps, Driving computer, Heated handlebar grips, Hand guards, ANTILOCKING BRAKES, and Linked brakes.Extras include: Altrider potentiometer cover, Battery Tender pigtail connector and Extended Warranty, valid until 2016.

BMW has officially introduced their literbike contender:  The 2009 BMW S1000RR. The pertinent numbers are a claimed 193 horsepower (at the crankshaft) and a 403.5-lb claimed dry weight. In a ready-to-ride form including fuel, BMW says to expect 450 lbs of weight.

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick.
