This is a Canadian Police BMW purchased for civilian use (has not been pre-owned by police). This is a rare bike for civilian usage and not easy to find unused and unstressed by police force usage. I am the second owner. Bike is in terrific condition and has all the necessary harnesses for police or other accessories. It has 13+k miles. There have been several upgrades to the bike: New Dunlop Road Smart tires, Remus exhaust and headers, power commander Ohlins shocks on back and front, I have hyperlites on the rear plate as well as bullet led lamps, Dually D2 led lamps on the crash bars. Wunderlich driving lamps under the oil guard, and led light strip at the rear sides. Air Horn by Wolo also installed. You will have full visibility and safety. The seat has been reupholstered for comfort and waterproofing by Kontour seats in Arizona. This bike is white on white unlike the California CHP which have the black. All crash bars stock and provided and some extras including bulbs, parts, BMW trickle charger and more. The bike has a km dial and miles in the digital readout (this is changeable). It is California registered and emissions cleared. It has a clear California title and is ready to ride. Traffic does move for you when you come through. Never been raced or dropped. Always well maintained by BMW dealers and BMW certified mechanics. Price is firm or credible offers please.

As the chair of this session I will start. On my walk to work this morning I got beeped at by BMW's C1 scooter whilst crossing the road. This, my most detested mockery of two-wheeled transport, beeped at me for no reason whatsoever but what angered me more was the pitiful horn the BMW has, it was a roadrunner like ‘meep’.

Charley Boorman Tours Canada for New Series

Actor and adventure rider Charley Boorman is getting ready for another journey, this one taking him across the Great White North on a tour of Canada. Best known for his Long Way Round and Long Way Down documentaries with his friend and riding partner Ewan McGregor, Boorman is touring Canada for a new series called Extreme Frontiers: Canada for the U.K.’s Channel 5. BMW Motorrad Canada will provide Boorman with his ride, likely from its GS line.
