BMW Other description

I'm sick that I am forced to sell this bike! I've only had it 7 mnths and I wanted to keep it forever. But I need the cash for my new business.. You will not find a bike in this good of condition and road ready anywhere. I recently rode it to Little Rock & back. No problems. I got 50mis to the gallon.Features: ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM Brakes, heated handle grips, power windshield. I put on new brakes & bearings when I got the bike. Burns almost no oil. Does not smoke.Purrs like a kitten. Smooth, quiet ride.Don't let the high mileage scare you. It almost scared me away when I bought it. My friend, who is a motorcycle mechanic, found this bike for me and went over it before I bought it. He said it has been well maintained and comes with maintenance records. He thinks it could go another 100,000mi without problems if it continues to be well maintained. (It has 104,000 mile. on it)I love this bike SO much, I will buy it back from you in six months if you want to sell it. Come ride it and fall in love with it. Marvin.

We were one of two US motorcycle publications to attend the unveiling of the 2014 BMW nineT in Munich a few weeks ago. The unique roadster was designed to both embody and celebrate the 90 years of BMW motorcycles by emphasizing the archetypical form of BMW’s qualities. Now, as part of the EICMA 2013 show, the rest of the world media and the public who are lucky enough to be in Milan get a chance to throw a leg over one.

2015 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL Get Traction Control as Standard Equipment

Fri, 04 Jul 2014

BMW is updating its big six-cylinder touring bikes with traction control as standard equipment and a number of new optional add-ons including keyless remote ignition. Previously available as part of BMW’s factory-installed Safety Package option, the Dynamic Traction Control system will now be standard on all 2015 K1600GT and K1600GTL models. The system continuously monitors rear wheel traction during acceleration, stepping in when it senses excessive wheel spin.

BMW Begins Motorcycle Production in Thailand

Thu, 28 Nov 2013

BMW has opened a new motorcycle assembly line at the company’s factory in Thailand. The facility will initially only produce F800R roadsters from complete knock-down kits for the Thai market, though BMW plans to eventually make the facility a production hub for other Asian markets. The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.
