1983 BMW R 100 , 1983 R100 S. (looks like a CS but it's not) 39500miles Very well maintained, Fast, runs great. Features: bar end mirrors, brand new smoked fiberglass windshield, BMW side cases, Corbin Touring Saddle plus original seat and Reynolds Backrest. extra gauge barrels for clock and voltmeter (if you want to go without the fairing) Fork Stabilizer, Brembo brakes, Black powdercoated aluminum snowflake wheels. Transmission was overhauled about 2 years ago @ Boxers by Bruce in Pantego TX. This bike is like a tank--it has never let me down in almost 10 years of awesome riding. However I bought a new F800GS and I can't keep em both :( $3,900.00 2144504869

BMW has released additional information breaking down its record 2011 sales. As previously reported, the German manufacturer sold a record 104,286 units in 2011, with a 7.4% year-on-year growth in the United States alone. According to BMW, the company sold 10,203 units in the U.S., making it the third largest market for BMW, behind Germany (20,002 units) and Italy (13,600 units).

2014 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Announced

After holding three events in the southern hemisphere, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will go north in September 2014, to Canada. Billed as the GS riders’ Olympics, the biennial competition pits teams representing different countries against one another in a number of challenges testing their riding skills. Previous competitions had competitors riding the F800GS but for 2014, the GS Trophy will switch to the liquid-cooled R1200GS.
