I have a 2008 Aprilia RSV1000 up for sale. All maintenance is current and up to date. I am the original owner since 2008 when bought new. It has never been down and is in perfect condition. It has Leo Vance titanium exhaust. Asking $7800.00 with exhaust $7300.00 without. Please don't try to lowball me as I am in no hurry to sell it and I know the value of this motorcycle. Tue, 08 May 2012Increased scooter sales offset a drop in motorcycle sales, but both segments reported increases in net sales for the Piaggio Group in the first quarter of 2012. According to Piaggio‘s first quarter report, the Group sold 9,400 motorcycles worldwide, down 8.2% from the 10,300 units sold in the same quarter last year. Scooter sales however saw a 7.9% increase to 79,200 units from 73,400 units.
De Puniet, Espargaro to Ride Aprilia-powered Aspar CRT MotoGP Racebike
Fri, 25 Nov 2011The Aspar racing team announced the signing of Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaró to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship on a CRT racebike powered by Aprilia engines. De Puniet (pictured above with his Playboy model girlfriend Lauren Vickers) rode a mystery race bike for Aspar this week at a MotoGP test, believed to be a modified version of Aprilia‘s WSBK-spec RSV4 with MotoGP-issue Bridgestone tires and carbon brakes. CRT rules require the use of a prototype chassis, so the Aspar machine cannot use the RSV4′s chassis.
