2000 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , I have a 2000 r6 for sale. Have had the bike for the past three years. A lot of after market parts and money invested. Has 17k miles but actually less from adding the bigger sprocket. MODs... Stretched 7 inches. lowered front and back 3.5 inches with custom dog bone and lowering links. CNC machined break adaptor from macadoo machine. R1 tail conversion with LED integrated break and blinker lights. Ohlins steering stabilizer mounted over gas tank. 905 race rails. Delkevic stubby race exhaust. Custom license plate makes it look like it floating. ASV unbreakable clutch and brake levers. Blacked out double bubble wind screen. Powder coated rims and race rails, bar ends "white" Stage 3 jet kit and K&N air cleaner kit professionally tuned on 93 octane with exhaust set up. Renthol quick acceleration sprocket kit up in the back down in the front. All bolts down to engine were replaced with brand new oem ones. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
