I am the original owner of this four stroke yamaha. I bought the yz400f for $5,518 and still have the receipt (see pics). I purchased this bike to to keep up with my kids as they rode their smaller bikes. I am 45 years old with some back issues and no longer have room in my shed, so this one will go to a new lucky owner. I am a meticulous owner and take good care of my things. It is as strong as the day I bought it. Oil, Plugs, filters and fuel are changed regularly. This bike has had minimal use, I would guess less than 18 hrs. The tires are original with minimal wear as seen in pics. Aside from the new stickers and a good gold chain, the bike is completely stock and strong. Auction will include the $100 bike stand seen in the photos. I also have lots of gear that I will let go for cheap to the winning bidder. Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.
2012 Yamaha YZ450F Announced
Thu, 09 Jun 2011Yamaha gave its YZ450F a major update for 2010 with its reversed engine layout so it should be no surprised the motocrosser received just a few updates for 2012. Besides the usual graphical updates, the 2012 Yamaha YZ450F receives a new exhaust system to meet 94dB competition requirements. Fuel injection settings have also been tweaked for smoother response at low to mid revs.

Thu, 22 Oct 2015In addition to introducing a new two-stroke model, Yamaha has updated its flagship 4T enduro, the WR450F. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
