Yamaha YZ description

1981 YZ 100.  Runs, very fast little bike in good shape.

Bike is in excellent shape, and very complete. Pic shows no airbox or side badging, but I have those and they are now installed. Excellent candidate for restoration - not many of these little bikes survived the young riders that had them. I think the only think non-original is the rear fender and the handgrips.

Buyer pays cash at pickup.

Yamaha’s official MotoGP outfit unveiled the team’s official 2014 livery in front of a packed audience in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team’s two factory riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, were on hand to proudly showcase their YZF-M1 motorcycles. As expected, blue, Yamaha’s factory color, plays a major role in the color scheme, but unlike last year where it was the dominant color, it is equally offset by contrasting white swaths on the upper fairing, fuel tank, and throughout the lower fairing.

Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
