This auction is for a 2005 Yamaha R6 in mint condition. Bike is garaged kept, runs perfectly and only has 1280 miles. It is all stock with the exception of a chrome windshield. Ben Spies Leaving Yamaha At End of 2012 MotoGP Season
Tue, 24 Jul 2012MotoGP racer Ben Spies has announced he will not re-sign with Yamaha while hinting at an impending announcement for his plans for the 2013 racing season. Earlier this week, Spies used Twitter (@BenSpies11) to hint at a change for next season. In an email to SuperbikePlanet, Spies confirmed he has decided not to remain with Yamaha for several unspecified reasons.

Mon, 12 Mar 2012James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
