Yamaha YZF-R description

I am selling my 05' Yamaha R1 to anyone willing to show a little bit more attention to it than I am able to at this moment in time. If you are familiar with this design, the 05' Yamaha R1 is a bit sleeker, being that it was the last year for this design.
From 06' and on, the body type has changed to a have a bigger styled-framed bike. I've have only been able to ride for 2 summers, and I feel it may make better use in someone else's hands.

The bike requires little cosmetic work,  only has few visible scratches and nicks, and some bubbling in the paint, nothing too extreme. It has guard pegs on both sides to protect it from serious dips or falls.

1000cc Sports bike, Candy Apple Red, with powder coated paint, powder coated exhaust, as well as The Punisher logo on head and side fairings. There also some spikes attached to the windshield, for that extra tough look. The bike also contains custom installed lights on the sides and undercarriage of the fairings to give in a nice styled glow when cruising under darker light settings, as well as nice florescent blue headlights.

It has only 3982 mi on it (original engine), which is pretty much nothing considering the year. Everything redone (oil, filters, electrical, etc, as well as a brand new battery).

I prefer a cash payment of course upon seeing the vehicle, so everything may be done in one smooth transaction, but will also accept PayPal option as a choice if instead preferred.

Please, serious inquires only.

Being the spec tire manufacturer for the AMA Pro Roadracing series gives Dunlop plenty of top-level R&D test riders to develop the next line of tires. Couple that with the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, New York, and the days of grabbing a set of UK tires over their American counterparts is over.
