Yamaha V Max description

One beautiful, low mile, well maintained '06 Vmax. Bike has MANY tasteful mods, plus most all stock items that were removed. Added shift light, digital gear indicator, crash bars, new Supertrapp mufflers, HID headlight, additional running lights, the list goes on!!
The best addition is an aftermarket rear wheel/tire combo that looks identical to the factory piece. This wheel allows a 180 mm wide tire, replacing the 150 stocker!! Plus, you get the like new factory rear wheel/tire!!
There are many items that improve an already bad-ass machine.
The last photo is of the bike with a Cobra exhaust, which may be swapped with the Supertrapps, if the buyer chooses. The bike actually runs better with the Cobra exhaust.
You pick which mufflers you want, or take both for an additional agreed upon price.
I'll answer any and all questions promptly.

YOU MUST PICK UP THIS BIKE, AS THERE WILL BE NO SHIPPING!!

THE BIKE IS ALSO ADVERTISED LOCALLY, AND THE AUCTION MAY END AT ANY TIME!!

Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU Concept – the SUV Motorcycle

Wed, 16 Nov 2011

Yamaha is debuting a new heavy-duty utility motorcycle concept at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. Described as the “SUV motorcycle”, the Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU was designed to carry heavy loads for both on and off the road. The concept’s name suggests it may share elements of Yamaha’s XT250 and TW200 dual sports.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.

Yard Built XV950 Pure Sports Channels the Yamaha FZ750

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

The latest product Yamaha Motor Europe’s Yard Built custom specials is a Star Bolt transformed into a replica of an FZ750. Dubbed the XV950 Pure Sports after the words written on the original FZ750′s fairing, the project was produced by Italy’s LowRide magazine and Radikal Chopper and styling by Oberdan Bezzi. The Star Bolt – known in Europe as the XV950 – is nearly unrecognizable in this new guise, except for its 942cc V-Twin engine.
