This is a very clean bike, needs nothing, 8715 original miles, ready to ride. Right fairing was painted and new decal due to fall over and scuffed decal by previous owner, no other "injuries".  Owned for a short time, moved and no longer have storage space for it. 1999 was the last year this model was made before Yamaha released the YZF model, rare bike.

3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k

Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.

In addition to introducing a new two-stroke model, Yamaha has updated its flagship 4T enduro, the WR450F. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.

Rossi Signs Extension with Yamaha Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Yamaha announced the signing of Valentino Rossi to a two-year contract extension that will see the nine-time World Champion with the factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. “It’s great because this was my target; I wanted to continue, I am feeling good and I’m motivated to keep giving my best,” says Rossi. “I am very happy that I can keep riding my YZR-M1, that has been my love for so many years and will still be my love this year and the following two seasons.
