Triumph Trident description

Relisting due to non-payment...

No reserve.  I have some more pics if you want to send me a message.

1973 (series 2) Trident with ~7000 miles on the odo.

I bought this bike in pieces in Michigan 4 years ago or so. All of the parts are there for a full resto, but i started a hard tail project that's about 70% complete.

Rebuilt engine:
- Punched and honed cylinders
- New pistons
- Valve jorb
- Tri-Spark electronic ignition

The chrome on the engine cases was flaking and looked like shit, so i pulled it off and painted them black. Haven't started the engine since then, but I rode it after the new cylinders but before cleaning up the cases.  It should just need to be oiled, hooked up and timed... which is a piece of cake with the Tri-Spark.

New Pirelli tires with 0 miles on them.

Powder coated frame and tank.

New air box.

Rebuilt the carbs, should still be balanced.

New battery and coils.

Needs:
- All brakes
- Finish exhaust system
- Electrics (lights, signals, zener charger).
- Throttle grip
- A few 1/4-20s on the engine cases could use helicoils.
- All the little stuff you don't think about probably.

I love this bike, but i don't have a garage since moving to CA, so as much as I keep telling myself I'm going to finish it, it hasnt happened in these last 2 years... bike is stored in a climate controlled workshop.

Also, it has Tennessee plates, so if you buy it in CA, you won't need to register it non-op while it's being worked on.

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

Racer, inventor and amputee, Mike Schultz, is the subject of a mini-documentary produced by Royal Purple. Schultz, a championship racer with an impressive list of wins under his belt, is a pioneer in the field of adaptive action sports. The five minute documentary, Part of Royal Purple’s Outperformer series, tells Schultz’ story, including the motivations that drove him to triumph following a devastating accident; inspiring others to return to extreme sports following potentially career ending injuries; and how he became one of the best in his field both as a racer and inventor.

A Triumph Bonneville Unlike Any Other

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

The Bucephalus is not just another “Old Meets New” custom. It’s a completely fresh idea from Loaded Gun Customs, builders of other wild machines, combining a 1967 Triumph Bonneville twin — an iconic engine in its own right — and surrounding it with state-of-the-art performance components. Basically, if motorcycle engines ceased production in 1967, this would be a modern day racebike.
