test Harley-Davidson V-Rod description

Harley-Davidson V-ROD Street Rod. This is the street Rod model with stronger engine, larger gas tank, higher and performance suspension and mid controls.
All original. Only 6950 miles, will go slightly up as I ride it on the weekends. Perfect condition. Adult rider. Less then 1000 miles on new tires and since oil change. Exhaust shield recall is completed. Can share video of cold start.
I bought the v-Rod last year because I was re-building my Shovelhead. Really fun bike, only reason I am selling because that project is now finished and I don't need 2 bikes.
Pick up only.

For those not familiar with the Street Rod version, the VRSCR was marketed as the 'roadster-inspired' member of the V-Rod line. The Street Rod was the first VRSC to use inverted Showa forks with steep rake, first with Brembo brakes. Highest seat height (at 30 in) of any VRSC model, with greatest lean angle at 40 degrees (vs 32 of the other VRSC models). The Street Rod cam equipped solely with mid-mounted controls. The Street Rod was the first with a 5-gallon tank in the 2006 year model, that would become standard for the line in 2007. Of the various versions of the V-Rod, the VRSCR Street Rod roadster was aimed primarily at the European market and was best able to handle the engine's 120 bhp output. MCN wrote: "The Harley-Davidson Street Rod has sharper steering, four-piston brakes made for Harley-Davidson by Brembo, new upswept exhausts for extra ground clearance, and a revised riding position makes this a Harley-Davidson like no other - one that attacks corners with glee".
