Suzuki GSX-R description

This Super Sport has been garage kept throughout its life. The Bike has only had racing synthetic oil placed in motor every oil change, and high test 93 fuel. The bike is a one owner machine and i have over cared for it since I bought off show room floor. The motor on this super sport has barley been broken in with only 7860. Has no issues what so ever with engine performance or brakes this bike is road ready. I have placed some new carbon fiber rear-view mirrors on bike as well as a brand new AGM battery (not shown in photos). The only flaw on this bike is the servo motor controller went bad a couple years ago. I had a Suzuki dealership look into the thrown code. The mechanic said that the exhaust baffle is stuck completely open. The mechanic said that track bikes have this piece removed and it adds some power to the motor. The mechanic said jokingly this is nothing to worry about as long as you can handle the extra power. I bought a servo buddy to fix the code something that many do if they put a aftermarket exhaust on their bikes. The rear tire only has a couple thousand miles on it. A nail decided to find a new home in the rear stock tire. The only reason i am selling this bike with title in hand is i never get time to ride it as you can see by the extremely low mileage. I am selling this GSX-R for way below blue book value.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Review – First Ride

Tue, 04 Feb 2020

ADV for Everyman, now with more power and cruise control Credit: Photos by Suzuki and John Burns How can any red-blooded American not love Suzuki, the blue-collar working motorcycle so many of us thrashed as youths, left parked in alleys with no loss of sleep, covered in fur for a brief period there in the (I think) ’90s… In spite of all the abuse we dished out, Suzuki’s loyalty was never in question. 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Editor Score: 88% Engine 18.0/20 Suspension/Handling 13.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 8.5/10 Instruments/Controls 4.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 9.5/10 Appearance/Quality 8.5/10 Desirability 8.5/10 Value 9.0/10 Overall Score 88/100 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 First Look Of all the GSX-Rs, GSX-Fs, SVs, RMs and TLs that have graced the editorial garage, I think the big V-Strom has emerged as my favorite, even if it wasn’t clear what role the first DL1000 was supposed to play in 2002? Back then, it was all about the GSX-R.
