I bought this intending to have a winter project to convert this into a trackbike but realize I have no time to do so. Frame is straight - motor runs great with only 1366 miles on it. Obiously from the pictures the bike is not currently rideable. It only need forks / bars as they are bent (could do 636 front end upgrade which is what most people do to 650's to make them track worthy) and radiator to be a perfect track bike. Salvage Title - pricing this as a perfect project. 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement
Wed, 06 Mar 2013The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.
Kawasaki Teases Ninja H2
Tue, 02 Sep 2014Kawasaki announced it will unveil a new motorcycle called the Ninja H2 at the Intermot show on Sept. 30 and the evidence suggests it will be a new supercharged sportbike. The Japanese manufacturer first announced last November it was developing a supercharged I-4 engine at the Tokyo Motor Show, and the Ninja H2 announcement suggests that’s exactly what we’ll see in Cologne.
Kawasaki Recalls 20,512 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on 2008-2011 Ninja ZX-10R and the 2009-2012 Ninja ZX-6R sportbikes due to a defect affecting the batteries. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator/rectifier on affected units may not sufficiently charge the battery. As a result, the battery may unexpectedly be fully discharged, causing the engine to stall.
