2007 KX 65 Bike has a hand full of rides on it. We purchased this for our son for his 10th birthday in June of this year (it was his 1st bike). Following each ride the following was completed on bike; air filter cleaned or replaced, gear oil changed, completed wash down of all parts including lubrication. Includes brand new rear tire (installed), 1 ride on front tire, 3 sets of boots (fox, thor, o'neil), brand new goggles, brand new riding gloves, brand new plastics, pro taper bars, new sprocket, new chain, fox helmet (not pictured). These bikes have not mechanically changed in the past number of years and are bullet proof GREAT bikes. Our son is moving up in bike class and he no longer has a need for it. We already showed you a video teaser featuring a crop-circle-like number 14 in a farmer’s field. Now we’ve unearthed a new video that includes the sound of a large-displacement inline-Four motorcycle engine revving out, which you can see after the jump.
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
