Honda Valkyrie tech info
Honda Valkyrie description
This Rune has been a beautiful handling bike from the day I bought it new. It purrrs like a kitten but has a deep throaty sound coming from the exhaust while idling. This Rune comes with the original seat as well as the Corbin Rumble Seat (value $600) so I can carry a passenger or tie down a travel bag when doing long trips. I have also had custom Passenger foot pegs (value $450) installed as well, by using only original bolt holes. This engine has only run on Amsoil Synthetic and is very strong. The back tire is good however it will likely be best to change the front tire at the end of this riding season if purchased here in Canada.
I am prepared to store the bike until it can be picked up as long as that is within 90 days of it being sold.
Payment can be in cash, credit card, or email bank transfer but MUST be cleared to my account before the bike will be released for shipping.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
