Honda Other description

1981 Honda CB900 Custom, Burgundy, Low Mileage This 1981 Classic Honda CB900 Custom is a true survivor. The last time this bike was registered was in 2009 and has been stored for the last 4 years. The engine starts and sounds good and it rides great. It has 21,000 miles on it. It comes with a new air filter, oil filter & oil. All fluids levels have been checked. Both tires are in very good shape, plenty of tread left, original rear air shocks work fine with no leaks. Brakes seem to be fine. The paint and chrome are in good condition with minor imperfections. Charging system tested with proper output. All signals and gauges tested to be in good working condition. The CB900 Custom's have the dual range transmission, effectively making the bike a 10 speed. 5 speeds in the Trans, plus a hi-lo gearbox and is shaft drive. Since the bike has been sitting for four years I would recommend a complete tune up by an authorized dealer or cycle shop. The left side battery cover is missing one of the snaps and someone has driller an 1/8 hole in it so that they could wire it in place. The seat needs to be recovered (see pictures) but is not bad. Otherwise this a good looking bike and would make for an easy restore project or weekend cruiser. Please look at all the pictures. Feel free to con tact me with questions about the bike. This bike is sold as is, where is, with no warranties, expressed or implied. I have described this bike as best as I can, but this is a 32 year old motorcycle, and as with any used vehicle it may have issues that I am unaware of. $2,200.00 8137825793

Honda NM4 Vultus Concept Revealed

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Honda revealed a new concept model called the NM4 Vultus, a futuristic-looking 745cc motorcycle with a massive front fairing. Despite the fact it looks like a mockup made for a movie like the Kawasaki-based bike in the recent Robocop reboot, Honda says the NM4 is indeed planned for production. The NM4 was designed by a team of young engineers in their 20s and early 30s, and that’s demographic Honda wants to target with its new concept.

Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
