Damage: Front fender, fuel tank, few broken fins on the right side of engine head,seat ripped, taillight cracked etc. Neat bike for a winter project. Equipped: Hagon shocks, café style seat, dual exhaust pipes, café bars etc. Production date: 9-76. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a New York salvage certificate MV907A. See Britain's land speed record hopeful at Race Retro 2010
Tue, 09 Mar 2010SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
Honda to Sponsor and Compete in 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Tue, 23 Apr 2013American Honda announced it will be a partnering sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while also entering the competition, racing in nine different classes (well, seventh, plus “Exhibition” entries in both car and motorcycle categories). Honda R&D staff, engineers, test riders and drivers will compete in car, motorcycle and ATV categories. Honda will field a record ten entries in all, with nine different vehicles including the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CRF450R and CRF250R.
