Honda CB description

This is a 1974 Honda CB200 that I rebuilt from top to bottom with the exception of getting into the crankcase. The bike has relatively low miles on it and the engine runs like new so there was no need.

There are many new parts and modifications electrical, mechanical and cosmetic. Some highlights are:

Stainless steel exhaust: http://predatormotorsport.co.uk/CB200-Honda-Exhaust-System-2-1-Road-Legal/
Custom two tone cafe seat with seat
Bobbed front and rear fenders
Custom tank, paint decals and knee indents
Reservoir piggyback shocks with preload custom rebuilt with new fittings and set for this bikes specs
Stainless steel LED tail light and license plate light
Rebuilt front disc brakes
Ignition coil
Rebuilt carbs and petcocks
NKG plug sockest
Fabric wrapped plug wires
Frame painted with epoxy
Chain
Hex Stainless steel crankcase bolts

The right buyer would be someone who knows or wants to learn about motorcycles. As with any bike this age it's a labor of love. There are a few minor issues like a finicky kill switch that controls the front headlight (it works intermittently). The bike starts on the first kick and is in quite nice mechanical shape. Some of the aluminum is a bit scaly and could use a polish. The only thing left to make it a true cafe would be some clubman bars and rearsets which would be a nice project to make it your own. I also have an extra set of carbs and many pieces/parts that could go to the buyer

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
