Honda CB description

Hello, Up for sale is a 1966 Honda Cb77 superhawk with a clean title and original key in hand! The bike is far from perfect and I'm only selling it because I have too many projects on my hand. It does not run and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Everything on the bike appears to be original except for the pipes. This would make a great restoration or be used as a great parts bike. The chrome on the tank is in very good condition with just very little pitting in one small area. It comes with a few miscellaneous parts as pictured including the headlight. The odometer shows 6,475 miles. I tried to take as many detailed pictures as possible. I can send you more pictures though of any part of the bike you desire. It is sold AS IS with no warranty express or implied. Local pickup only. Buyer is solely responsible for shipping but I will assist in any way I can. If you have zero or negative feedback, please contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. If you have any questions please let me know. Please ask ANY questions you have before bidding and do not bid if you do not have an intent of following through. Thanks and good luck!

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.
