CBR 900 RR - RARE PAINT SCHEME (1998)
Hate to see it go but, here it is... 1998 Honda CBR900RR. Rare paint scheme. Adult owned and ridden. Since I've owned it, the bike has never used for stunts and never customized. It's all stock except for an aftermarket Akrapovic slip-on exhaust and a tinted windshield. Both came with it when I bought it. I've owned the bike a little over 2 years and have only ridden it ocassionally during fair weather months. All other times (again, since I've owned it) the bike has been garage kept. It doesn't sleep on the street, I never let it see snow and I don't ride in the rain. I intended on riding it to work this summer (but never got around to it) so I had it serviced. I spent $700.00 on parts and labor and have a receipt to prove it. Pros: New battery, oil change, spark plugs, brake fluid flush and a new petcock. I put a new chain and sprocket on it last year (stock) and had it lubed and adjusted this year. The bike passed its NYS inspection and is good until next summer. Wheels, tires and brakes all in great shape. I didn't measure tire tread or anything like that so I can't say how much life is left on them. They're just good. I purchased this bike from the original owner with 7500 mi back in 2013 added a Sargent Seat,very comfortable,integrated led tail/turn/brake light that is much brighter than the original and still have the original light to be included in sale,also a Haynes service manual,owner's manual,origional tool kit and a new battery was installed 1 yr ago,due to a back injury I was told to give up riding,this bike is always garaged and covered,never abused or dropped,has a small scratch on rear cowl,the size of a nail head,easy touch up,and an even smaller one on tank,hardly noticeable,tank is dent free,pretty much in showroom condition,very nimble handling but EXTREMELY FAST BIKE,not for the beginner,bike no longer registered or insured,sorry no test rides,runs new! 2002 Honda CBRF4IRR17,618 miles This bike was purchased as a bank repossession, it has a CLEAN and CLEAR title.Mechanically it is 100%, it runs and rides good, it is clear of any warning lights, it does not smoke nor does it have a knock or tick of any kind.Cosmetically it is in good shape, these are original Honda fairings and not some type of chinese knock off. There are a few minor imperfections such as some scuffs on the right side lower portion of the mid fairing and lower fairing, also there are cracks on both sides of the tail where it mounts up, this was caused from the bolts being over tightened, besides what I have mentioned the fairings are in great shape, if I missed something in the description, please look at the pictures more closely.
