Up for grabs...1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport DOHC First year of Honda's iconic DOHC 750. Bike is mostly complete barring the side panels. Overall condition is very good - mufflers have the tell-tale rust holes in the bottom. Bike does not currently run but the motor does turn over. Inside of the tank is pretty clean, but I'm sure the carbs will need going through. Will need brake work as well as a battery. I inquired about buying this bike 20 years ago from an older friend of mine and after all of these years he recently decided to sell it to me. Unfortunately I have recently developed arthritis in my hand making it difficult to drive a motorcycle so I have decided to try to sell it. The bike looks and runs great. I have taken it to the local motorcycle shop and they were impressed with the overall shape of the bike and thought it should sell for at least $2,500 on E-Bay. The bike has weather checks in the front tire and after market header pipes that were put on years ago. Fresh tune up this spring, bike runs really well. And has lots of power. Im 6-1 200lbs and fits me well. Has forward controls from TC Bros also. Has descent rubber on it. Good for another season. Since the departure of Honda’s shaft-driven sport-tourers, such as the ST1300 and VFR1200F, Big Red has been out of the road-focused sport-touring game, while aiming much of its efforts at the ever-popular ADV market via its versatile Africa Twin CRF1000L platform. Well, those of the tarmac riding persuasion have a new ST machine to ponder in the NT1100, which borrows core components from the recently revamped Africa Twin range, including its frame, six-axis IMU-supported rider aids, 1,084cc Parallel-Twin engine, and semi-automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission.
