This is the 105th anniversary edition with the paint color known as "Gun Metal Blue" with 45,530 actual miles. I have all of the service records showing all periodic maintenance being performed at a qualified HD dealership at 5,000 mile intervals, as directed in the Owner's Manual. The original battery gave up the ghost, whereby, I installed a new battery on 03/15/2015. The following items have been added to the bike after my initial purchase in 2008:
I've ridden this bike through Red River (NM), Yellowstone, the Black Hills, the Waterton Mountain Range in Canada, Sturgis, and numerous other places. Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
