Harley-Davidson Touring description

I have a 2001 Road King Classic Fuel Injected for sale. This bike is MINT!!!!! Lots of extra chrome on the engine, and controls and forks are ALL Chrome. I've added a fairing that comes off as easy as a windshield. I have a windshield too. I also added a quick release touring pack. Clicks on and of in 30 seconds. Security key fob and LED engine light kit. The front lights have been updated to look like a new model year. Rear tail light and front and rear signals are all LED.

Motorcycle also has a Stage 1 kit, KnN air filter and Vance Hines exhaust. Sounds very nice and not too loud. Nice rumble. There is about 6,000.00 in extras on this bike and it only has 4K miles on the bike! I am the second owner. I bought this for my birthday 5-6 years ago with only 1,0000. miles on it. As you can see I never ride it so would like to sell it to someone who can appreciate a sweet bike. This bike is selling on craigslist and ebay for 12-13K and they dont have nearly as much chrome nor extras and the miles are in the double digits. This is a steal.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley-Davidson Ring Saved from a Filthy Fate

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.
