Harley-Davidson Touring description
Vintage 1978 Harley Davidson Shovel head. This Bike was taken down to the frame and all parts were removed and replaced or cleaned and adjusted. The engine was rebuilt. All work was done by a professional. I have put less than a 1,000 miles since the work was completed. The color of the bike is a striking red and black granite design gradually fading to total black. The gas tanks are Fat Boy tanks, the wheels are Aluminum. It is both electric and kick start. The headlight was changed to LED, the bike was lowered 1 inch for a safer more comfortable ride. The bike has a gel saddle, leather saddlebags, new HD low profile carburetor, new pipes and as many other improvements that I could think of.
When I turned 80 my doctor suggested getting rid of the motorcycle since it would be too dangerous for my condition. When you pay for advice it is usually a good idea to take it. This is great riding machine and is really comfortable ride. |
