Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 883C, Ask for Jerry!! - There’s nothing like taking a good thing further. Nowhere is that basic premise more obvious than the 883 Custom. One look at the profile and you’ll see this is everything a Sportster is and much more. Starting with our latest incarnation of the Evolution engine, rubber-mounted for a smooth ride. The riding position got better, too, thanks to the new handlebar, riser and the easier-to-reach forward foot controls. The good news keeps going with a rear disc with 150mm tire, lowered suspension and two-up seat. A 4.5-gallon tank means you won’t have to stop anytime soon. Same is true with your custom look. There’s a Profile Laced wheel option this year. And as always, there’s more fun in store with Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories. Grab a wrench and see just how far you can take a good thing.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
