This is a NO RESERVE auction Original matching frame w/ 1970 900cc Ironhead motor. Motor is electric and kick start. bike has been stored inside for the last 5 years Engine top end was rebuilt w/ aftermarket cylinders and heads were redone w/ new springs/ valves Vin# 4A22778H0 Good example of a classic original ironhead done up as a tracker style build Bike has some custom modifications and performance upgrades. CUSTOM/ AFTERMARKET PARTS
Front/ rear wheel and tire are in very nice shape w/ 80% tread remaining.Engine has not been fired since rebuild. Clutch will need adjusted and bike will need tuned and a battery to finish. H-D and Marvel have had a long relationship, and to unite fans of both brands, Harley-Davidson is seeking candidates to join Captain America as “Agent 1” and star in a brand-new digital franchise, which will introduce a new chapter of action, including a group of characters created by Marvel’s Custom Division exclusively for Harley, and feature the new Harley-Davidson Street 750. The mini-movie and digital comic will debut in Marvel and Harley-Davidson online and social channels this summer.
Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
