1988 Harley-Davidson Softail , Almost always garaged, 2nd owner. Been in storage last two years with occasianal start ups. Most chrome has less than 4000 miles driven on it, engine was newly rebuilt thats why 11000 miles on it frame has less than 60000 miles. 18" Ape hangers, sissy bar, looks and runs great. Will need new battery, Headlight, left fork has slight leak. Belt and sprockets are less than 5000 miles, clutch has been replaced, Starter & solenoid & Drive gear all this was done not to long before going into storage, still started about every two weeks or so. Have put just over 18000 thousand into it, but was told would never get any where near that much, must sell. $6500.00. Please call 602-618-3073

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator

A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their  was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
