2006 Ducati S2R 800 Dark Monster Motorcycle, Excellent Condition, No Reserve! (2006)
Up for auction is: a 2006 Ducati S2R Dark Monster 800 motorcycle. Everything on it works as it should. This motorcycle is in very good condition, with only 7,100 miles on it. I’m the second owner, the first being a police officer. I can say with certainty that it has been well maintained its entire life. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed riding it with no complaints and no issues... It features the Ducati performance ECU, K&N air filter, bar end mirrors (stock mirrors included), CNC billot aluminum clutch and brake levers, shorten tail and the tires were purchased last season with approx. 1,600 miles on them. There is also a Nelson-Regg expandable tank bag "17-21 litres" included with the bike. The tank was recently replaced per a Ducati recall. There is no “red key”, but it is not required to do anything beyond programming. There are very minor dings and such, as would be expected with any used motorcycle, but truly nothing notable. I’m getting up in years now with deteriorating health and therefore have no option but to sell it. There is “no reserve” on this auction. Any questions, please ask now. Toss out the desmo valves, add some springs and back the whole thing up with a double-sided swingarm, and voila, a recipe even the most discerning internet troll will be helpless from sinking its teeth into. Sure, weve done our fair share of proliferating the old adage of theres no replacement for displacement, but we also understand there are more facets at play than just mo cc are mo better.
