This is a mean little naked cafe bike. I've had this bike for 6 years and it has mostly been ridden on weekends--I am a fair weather rider. I bought it from a friend in Minnesota who did a few mods (mostly took off a bunch of the plastics, which I have if you want).
The bike has around 14,500 miles, although the odometer reads only 1800 miles since I had the instrument cluster replaced professionally about 3 years ago. So the total mileage on the bike is around 16,000. I'm getting rid of it because I just don't ride it much anymore. The bike has been stored with a cover, under a carport, on a trickle charger. The bike starts up and rides great. The good: Bike runs well, tons of fun, and looks great Comes with two keys plus the red key Comes with "leather" tank cover and tank bag which snaps on to the cover. It stores enough for a weekend trip. Sounds super mean Oil changed regularly and newish tires (they have a few hundred miles on them but have been sitting nearly idle for a few years--they have a lot of life in them). I have most of the maintenance records if you want to see them. Inspection just done, Texas registration good through June 2017 Title in hand The bad: Security system can be finicky when switching between keys--the bike gets confused by switching back and forth and refuses to start when it doesn't recognize the key. My solution has been to just use the same key and then it's fine. The "Low Fuel" indicator stays on despite having a full tank "Maint" maintenance indicator flashes upon starting the bike, as it always has since I changed the instrument cluster The ugly: The bike has been dropped before I owned it, so the tank is banged up on both sides (covered up by the tank cover) and it is a little scratched up (I tried to show most of it in the pics). The tank cover hides this damage. The seat has a small puncture in it (see pic) This is a super fun bike with a lot of spunk. I am willing to work with you on shipping if local pick up is not an option for you. |

Audi-Ducati Discussions No Longer Exclusive
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Audi‘s window for exclusive negotiation rights with Ducati has closed, but the German automaker is still expected to announce the acquisition of the Italian motorcycle brand this week. Volkswagen-owned Audi had exclusive rights to discuss acquiring Ducati until April 15, and though other suitors may now begin negotiations, Audi remains the front-runner. Last week, Reuters reported a deal could be announced as soon as April 18, the day before the Volkswagen Group’s annual shareholder meeting.
NASCAR Star Greg Biffle Also Plays On Two Wheels – Video
Thu, 25 Jul 2013I’ll admit, as a fan of road racing (both two- and four-wheeled), I’ve never really understood the allure of NASCAR. I know that series runs on a few road courses throughout the year, but the racing never attracted my attention. As such, I dismissed many of the drivers, too.
