2012 Can-Am Spyder RS I am relisting this due to a non-paying bidder. The seller purchased it new in 2012 - one owner. Odometer reads 3,057 miles. Engine size is 990cc. In excellent cosmetic and working condition. Always stored inside and covered. Transmission is considered automatic but you do have to shift on the left handle, no clutch needed. Transmission automatically down shifts when coming to a stop back to 1st gear. Starts, runs & drives like new. Includes (2) keys. 2008-2012 Can-Am Spyder Fuel Vapor Leak Recalls Expands to US
Thu, 20 Dec 2012A pair of recalls for fuel vapor leaks on Can-Am Spyder roadsters has expanded to the U.S. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, one recall affects 9,600 units from model years 2008-2010 while the second, larger recall affects 33,700 from model years 2008-2012. An earlier recalls from Transport Canada affects 9400 units for the a fuel cap issue and 2,431 units for a fuel vapor canister vent hose issue.

Developed in partnership with the Advanced Technology Center at Sherbrooke University in Quebec and with funding from the Government of Canada, the hybrid Spyder is an ambitious project for BRP. We met up with Scott MacWilliam from BRP at the Toronto Motorcycle Show to take a look at a working prototype of the Can-Am’s hybrid three-wheeler.
