A thing of beauty?

The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple.

I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.

In the mean time all I can say is that the thing is just so damn stunning to look at, and I’m not the only one who seems to think so. I popped in to Sainsbury to get a sandwich and came out to find a gathering of respectable looking teens admiring it's beauty. I even had a nod and a smile off an elderly gentleman who saw the Triumph tank badge and his face lit up.

I was trying to watch the World Superbikes on Sunday and found myself constantly glancing out the garden window as it sparkled in the sun.

Ill update on the riding a performance after the bank holiday but for now let me know what you think, do you like it? Would you buy one on looks alone?
