Yamaha YZF description

 Bike originally built for Pro rider Josh Clark out of New England area. The top end was just redone ($991) by X-Pro in Connecticut who built it originally for Clark. The motor has a ported head, decked cylinder XPro spec grind degree'd cams. Its fuel injected. Factory compression is bumped up alittle to 13:8 to 1 (compared to factory 13:5 to 1) and runs excellent on 93 pump gas.
Just installed today a new set of plastics including OEM fork guards. ( only the air duct system is original).

Bike has approx. 65 hrs total on it, 39hrs since we've owned it. Topend just done at 36hrs.

This bike looks great and flat out hauls!!! Guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Comes with the Original Yamaha Certificate of Ownership

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.

CARB Documents Reveal Two Yamaha FJ-09 Models

The California Air Resources Board today released executive orders on two Yamaha models: the FJ09FCGY and FJ09FCR. Both to be based on the current FZ-09 engine and chassis (MT-09 in Europe). In March of this year, MO’s resident sleuth, Dennis Chung, revealed Yamaha filed a trademark application for the FJ09 name.
