Hello everybody :),I have a sweet bike on the trading table......This is a 2002' Yamaha YZF R1R1 superbike:1000cc fuel injected twenty valve inline 4 cyl160 H.P @ 10,000 rpmsix gear trans with massive 300mm disk brakes2800 mis on the odometer & less than 75 mis on the tiresWith a zero - 60 mph time of 2.3 seconds & a top speed of 200 mph +/-, this suberbike commands respect and is not to be taken lightly. Its a blast to ride, its well balanced, maneuverable and super responsive. I have a lot of fun riding this bike, but I need something with a bit more room to stretch out on, so I am looking to trade for a V-Twinn cruiser.I am partial to Shadows, Vulcans & V-Stars, although I will look at other options.This books about $4,800 , so I am looking for a fair trade deal, not some flakey low ball garbage. The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300

Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.

A drop in net sales, an appreciating yen and the fallout from the March 11 earthquake and tsunamis in Japan contributed to a 4.6% drop in profit for Yamaha Motor Co. over the second quarter of 2011. Over the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Yamaha saw a 5.9% drop in net sales compared to the same period in 2010.Yamaha reports sales of 344.5 billion yen (US$4.48 billion) over the second quarter, compared to the 366.3 billion yen (US$4.77 billion) reported in the same quarter in 2010.
