Yamaha YZF-R description

2009 Yamaha YZF-R6, 2009 Yamaha R6 - This R6 has low miles, an upgraded exhaust and levers, shaded screen, minor scuffs on left side, and tires and brakes have about 70% life remaining. TRACK READY, STREET SMART The 2009 R6 is designed to do one thing extremely well: get around a race track in minimal time. It’s about a screaming, 15,000-rpm-plus fuel-injected four-cylinder engine in a taut chassis that lets it snap from upright to full lean instantly. Oh yeah: It’s a great street bike too.

Mon, 11 Jul 2011

Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue,  this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
