2009 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , Asking 8500 but I am willing to negotiate. Will only accept cash. No electronic transactions, such as paypal, or checks. Just had all the fluids flushed Oil change Brand new Michelin pilot power 2 tires Scorpio sr-900r alarm system HID headlights with blue led accent lights JPR shorty levers Smoked wind screen Flush mounted led turn signals Led integrated tail light K&N race filter New OEM factory fuel pump installed by licensed dealer ( tree limb fell on the bike, dented the fuel tank and I messed up the fuel pump putting the new tank on ) All factory OEM parts I have replaced go with the bike too. Yamaha, Honda Donate to Thailand Flood Relief Efforts
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda and Yamaha announced relief aid for the people of Thailand affected by severe flooding that has swamped large parts of the country since late July. Yamaha and its Thai subsidiaries are donating a relief package worth about 30 million yen (US$390,000) including 3,000 life jackets. Yamaha is evaluating what items to provide including outboard motors.
James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
1973 Yamaha TZ750 Works Prototype #409-100001 Up For Auction
Fri, 27 Dec 2013For just $120,000, you too can be the owner of a special piece of motorcycling history. Up for grabs on eBay is the 1973 Yamaha TZ750 that started it all. Claimed by the current owner to be the test mule of none other than Kel Carruthers in 1973, this TZ carries the number #409-100001. Yamaha Works GP rider Sadeo Asami cared for the motorcycle for much of its racing life until it was returned to Yamaha USA where it was destined for the crusher.
