Yamaha YZF-R description

Excellent bike for sale, I have owned the bike since February of 2009.  The bike is heavily modified, all modifications will be listed below.  As seen in the pictures above, the bike does have damage to the top of the forks, this happened in 2010, the forks still work absolutely fine, excellent rebound, just no adjustment from the top.

As you can see, the NADA pricing has a similar stock bike listed for around five thousand dollars, with all of the mods and included tires and wheels, this is an excellent deal on a fantastic sportbike.

If the lucky buyer chooses the "Buy It Now" price, the bike will include the two Bridgestone BattLax BT003 (front and rear) as well as the original OEM wheels (no discs on front wheel), black in color.  Again, the tires and OEM wheels are ONLY include if the Buy It Now option is chosen.

Listed below are the modifications to the bike:
     Double Bubble Blue Wind Screen
     Race Air Filter
     Smoked Front Turn Signals
     Tank Grip Pads 4 Piece
     Carbon Fiber Gas Cap Rings
Integrated LED Rear Turn Signals and Triple Flash Brake Lights
Fender Eliminator Kit with R6 Logo
     Vortex Rearset, Black
     Full M4 Carbon Race Exhaust
     Power Commander USB III
     ECU Unleashed FLASH
     OEM Wheels Powder Coated Gold

Included with standard sell is the factory blue Yamaha R6 fitted cover and swingarm spool rear stand.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me, I should be able to respond within 24-48 hours.

Item is sold as is, no returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU Concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Fri, 02 Dec 2011

Of the concept models Yamaha announced it would introduce at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, it was the heavy-duty looking XTW250 RYOKU concept that drew the most attention from our readers. Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
