Yamaha YZF-R description

2005 Yamaha R-6

Here is a 2005 Yamaha R6 that has a Rebuildable Florida Salvage Title. This bike was a theft recovery bike and needs very little to be a nice running bike. The bike does have 16,116 miles on it but is in running shape. It needs to be jump started each time so it will need a new battery that will hold a charge. The ignition set has been broken on it hence theft recovery. The bike has a GPR steering stabilizer, aftermarket clutch/brake levers, and Micron Exhaust. The bike does have a few scratches and scrapes. The tank is dented and has scratches on it, there is rash on the right side cover and there scratches on the left side of the bike. The front rim does have some rash on it and the paint is peeling off. It is a nice bike great for a beginner. If you need any more pictures or would like to see this bike in person please contact us. If you need this bike shipped to your location we can get you a shipping quote through YRC Freight.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

Thu, 22 Oct 2015

In addition to introducing a new two-stroke model, Yamaha has updated its flagship 4T enduro, the WR450F. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
