I'm selling my 2005 R1 I have owned it since 08 and don't have the time for it anymore. It has about 11-12k miles, airbrushed, extended powder coated swing arm powder coated rims to match the bike as u can see, HID headlights led pod, graves exhaust sounds great. Too much to list overall the bike runs great never had a problem and hate to see it go!! LOW RESERVE! Sold as is

Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over
Thu, 23 Aug 2012Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.
Yamaha EKIDS Concept Appearing at New York International Motorcycle Show
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Yamaha is bringing its full 2014 line of motorcycles to the New York City stop of the International Motorcycle Shows tour. Along with the production models from Yamaha and the Star cruiser brand, the company will display the EKIDS electric dirtbike concept that debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha EKIDS is powered by a DC brushless motor with electricity supplied by a lithium-ion battery.
