Yamaha YZ description

2002 Yamaha YZ426F, 2002 YAMAHA YZ426F, A VERY STRONG FOUR STROKE DIRT BIKE THATS READY FOR THE TRACK OR TRAIL, LOOKS AND RUNS GREAT - Four Strokes. Five Titanium Valves. One Bad Mother. Could the YZ426F be perfect? Motocross Action magazine asked in a recent test. Well, we’d of course have to say yes, but you’d expect that from us. So we’ll just let this milestone of MX engineering, winner of three straight Four-Stroke of the Year awards, speak for itself. And we’ll start with what’s arguably its most devastating asset: 426cc of liquid-cooled, 5-titanium-valved, four-stroke single, bearing newly remapped ignition for more precise spark - and performance that’s quicker and harder hitting than ever.

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
