Yamaha YZ description

Up for Auction is a 1979 Yamaha yz80

80cc

The bike runs, and is drivable it just needs a new Kickstart Lever(just the lever) and the Clutch Lever on the handle bars broke, soo a new Lever for that also.
Other than that the bike shows normal wear.  The seat is beat up and may need to be replaced if you don't like the ductape.  Ive never had a problem with it starting up.

Very Fun Bike to drive around I just don't have the time for it.

LOYAL PICK UP ONLY

Rumor Mill: Yamaha To Make R400 and R650

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

Yamaha is set to put into production two new sporty bikes — the R400 and R650 —  according to “Young Machine” a Japanese motorcycle magazine. If true, this would fill a huge void in the manufacturer’s beginner sportbike bike lineup. It would make sense, considering the success of Suzuki’s SV650 (which later morphed into the Gladius and is now the SFV650), Kawasaki’s Ninja 650 (ER-6 in other markets), and even Honda’s CBR500R.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010,  according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
