                                                                                      1978 Yamaha YZ400

You are bidding on my awesome 1978 Yamaha YZ400.  This bike is a complete frame up restoration.  The engine has been disassembled and all parts inspected and replaced where needed.  The bike is ready to race, period.  AHRMA ready for you, or, just ride it in the woods.  It was never raced and only ridden as a woods bike so it is very nice.  The power is amazing and this bike is for the experienced rider only!!  Full bore racing grunt.  Your friends will eat rocks!!   You can do your research on these 400's and you will find that the '78 was quite the bike to race back in the day.  I remember, because I raced one.  Not this one but I can tell you that if you are looking to get the holeshot, then this YZ400 has the balls to take you to the front if can ride it.  I have a supertrap muffler on it for woods riding which you can remove if so desired.  I would also put different tires on it for racing MX, depending on the track, as tires can be the difference between winning and losing on any sunday.    ALSO INCLUDED IS MY ORIGINAL RACING JERSEY FROM 1978 AND MY YAMAHA RACING HAT I WORE BACK THEN.  SEE PICTURE.  My Reserve is very reasonable for what this bike is.  Buy it and race it.

PAYMENT BY PAY PAL ONLY:  You need to have a Pay Pal account linked up to your ebay email address. Invoice will be send to you and please pay when you receive the Invoice.  If you do not have the money to buy, please do not bid.

The bike is located in Onsted, Michigan 49265 which is 62 miles southwest of Detroit and 45 minutes northwest of Toledo, Ohio.  I do not ship motorcycles and I am not a dealer or a mechanic.  The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for their own shipping or pick the bike up.  I will store the bike for 30 days.  Please try to get it picked up by then.  Thanks.

PAYMENT:     PAY PAL ONLY.  (I will need your email address as linked to your Pay Pal so I can send you an Invoice), PAY WHEN YOU WIN.

SHIPPING:      BUYER MUST PAY FOR AND ARRANGE THEIR OWN SHIPPING PLEASE.  I CAN AND WILL HOLD IT HERE FOR YOU FOR UP TO 30 days.

With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
